ILRP 100 Class

The Indigenous Learning Recognition Portfolio course at Vancouver Island University is an exploration of Indigenous identity. Students build a portfolio through reflection of who they are, where they are from, where they are going and how they can give back to community. Students in the spring 2019 course also explored their collective voice through the creation of story. Members of the class brought ideas forward for the development of the story throughout the semester, with Hayden Taylor, Keandra Thompson, Quinn James, Joanna Harris, and Francis Guerrero weaving it all together in the last couple of weeks of class. Many extra hours were put in by these students to bring this story to its finalized version.
