Raven Slander

Raven Slander is originally from Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), and has travelled North America’s highways East Coast, West Coast, and across. She writes and performs her work about her lived experiences, chronicling her early life of sex work, addiction, treachery, and love, giving voice to the disappeared, the dispossessed, and the darkness. Residing on the traditional Coast Salish territory of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish First Nations (Vancouver), Raven advocates for transgender justice and services and continues to learn from and contribute to the queer/trans writing community.
