Van Kunder is a fiction writer, poetess and journalist. Surviving a cancer diagnosis in her teens, Van often creates dark work heavily influenced by her trials through disease, and couples it with her fascination in escapism and fantasy. As a graduate of Creative Communications at Red River College, she advocates for honest, raw storytelling utilizing new media as the vehicle to create dialogue around feminism, spirituality and millennial entrepreneurship. She is an active blogger and entrepreneur.
