Kevin Bear Henry

Bear is a Coast Salish multi-media artist who self identifies as two-spirited and trans femme. Bear is heavily inspired by culture, land, and language revitalization. For the past fifteen years, Bear has been rediscovering all aspects of their Hul’q’umi’num heritage, much of which is through the use of art expression such as photography, writing, and poetry. Bear is a social worker, prominent voice of land protection through art as a method of healing, and appreciates the opportunities afforded to them.
