Jo Chrona

Jo is a member of the Ts’msyen Nation; her grandmother is from Kitsumkalum and her grandfather from Kitsegukla. She is Ganhada from the House of K’oom. Her father’s family was of European descent. Jo has worked in the field of education for over twenty years teaching both youth and adults, developing curriculum, and writing resources. She is passionate about supporting a truly inclusive educational experience for all learners where honouring Indigenous voices and valuing Indigenous knowledge are valued. When not writing, Jo’s creativity finds outlets in baking and painting, the products of which she loves to share with others.
