MARIE CARRIÈRE directs the Canadian Literature Centre at the University of Alberta, where she is also Professor of English and French. She has published several books, articles, and collections on Canadian, Indigenous, and Québécoises women writers and feminism. She is currently at work on a new book titled Cautiously Hopeful: Metafeminist Practices in Canada.
