Stevie Howell (b. 1977) is an Irish-Canadian writer. A first collection of poetry, Sharps, was a finalist for the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award. Stevie’s poetry has appeared in Canadian publications, including Hazlitt, Geist, and Maisonneuve; in U.S. publications, including BOAAT, Prelude, and The Cossack Review; and overseas in The Rialto, The Moth, and Southword. Their critical writing has been published in the The Globe and Mail, Ploughshares, and The Rumpus. Stevie Howell is the poetry editor at THIS Magazine, and an MFA candidate at NYU. Stevie’s second book of poetry, released spring 2018, is called I left nothing inside on purpose.
