Sheryda Warrener (b. 1978) is the author of two poetry collections: Hard Feelings (Snare, 2010) and Floating is Everything (Nightwood, 2015). Her work can be found online or in print in Event, Grain, The Fiddlehead, Hazlitt, The Believer, among others. In 2017, she was the recipient of The Puritan’s Thomas Morton Memorial Prize for poetry. Originally from Grimsby, Ontario, she lives in Vancouver, where she’s a lecturer in the Creative Writing program at UBC, and facilitates Artspeak Gallery’s Studio for Emerging Writers.
