REBECCA FISSEHA is the author of the novel Daughters of Silence. She writes fiction and non-fiction that explores the unique and universal aspects of the Ethiopian diaspora experience. Her stories, essays, and articles appear in various magazines and journals and in Addis Ababa Noir, a collection of stories by Ethiopian diaspora and local writers. Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Rebecca currently lives in Toronto.
