Lorri Neilsen Glenn’s non-fiction and poetry titles include the award-winning Following the River: Traces of Red River Women (Wolsak and Wynn, 2017), a lyrical hybrid work exploring the lives of her Ininiwak and Métis grandmothers and their contemporaries. Glenn’s poetry and non-fiction appear in numerous journals, magazines, and anthologies, and her work has been adapted for libretti. An award-winning teacher and writing coach, Glenn served as Halifax’s first Indigenous poet laureate. She is professor emerita at Mount Saint Vincent University and a mentor for the University of King’s College MFA program. She lives in Nova Scotia.
