Evan Jones (b. 1973) was born and raised in Weston, Ontario. His first collection of poems, Nothing Fell Today But Rain (2003), was a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry. In 2005, he moved to Manchester, UK, where he has lived since, completing a Ph.D. in English and Creative Writing at the University of Manchester in 2009. He is co-editor of the anthology, Modern Canadian Poets (Carcanet, 2010). His second collection, Paralogues (Carcanet), was published in 2012. He is Lecturer in English at the University of Bolton.
