Alison Pick

Alison Pick won the 2002 Bronwen Wallace Award for poetry, the 2003 National Magazine Award for poetry, and the 2005 CBC Literary Award for poetry. Her 2010 novel Far to Go was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and has been optioned for film. Pick is also the author of the memoir Between Gods, winner of the Jewish Book Award for non-fiction. She served on the jury for the 2015 Scotiabank Giller Prize, and has been on faculty at the Sage Hill Writing Experience, the Banff Centre for Art and Creativity, the Iceland Writers Retreat, and the Humber School for Writers. A two-time fellowship recipient at both Yaddo and MacDowell, Alison Pick lives and writes in Toronto.
