Amanda Jernigan

Amanda Jernigan (b. 1978) grew up in rural Ontario and as an adult has lived in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, working as an editor, scholar, and teacher. She is the author of three books of poems (most recently Years, Months, and Days) and two chapbooks (most recently The Temple), plus the monograph Living in the Orchard: The Poetry of Peter Sanger. She is an essayist as well as a poet, and has written for music and for the stage. With her husband, the artist John Haney, she publishes occasional books and broadsides under the imprint Daubers Press.
