Kevin Henry
Kevin Adam Henry is a member of the Penelakut Tribe; Hul’qumi’num and WSANEC territories. Kevin has been published with many grassroots media companies, and most recently with Ricochet Media. That particular article looks at colonization as a social health determinant among Indigenous youth with a perspective into mental health and healing suicidal thoughts. Before this, Kevin did community outreach with many front line Indigenous communities stopping pipelines, mining, over-foresting, urban sprawl, and modern-day encroachment of Indigenous homelands. He has won three school awards from Camosun College.
