Teryl Berg (Edmonton, Alberta) Teryl is a transmasculine human who vlogs about their transition at the YouTube channel Teryldactyl. They completed a B.Sc. at the University of Alberta and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at Grant MacEwan. Teryl has a passion for medicine and healing as a result of their own chronic pain journey. Though largely a private experience, writing poetry has been a lifelong practice and also a survival mechanism. Other casual artistic outlets include performing in Edmonton Fringe Festival plays and dancing with abandon at the local gay bar. Teryl is currently employed at a non-profit transitional house for folks with addictions.
