Tyler Mugford

Tyler Mugford(he/him) is an Inuk raised in Cartwright, on Labrador’s south coast, and currently residing in Happy Valley–Goose Bay. His passion for creating and telling stories from and about Labrador led him to journalism, which he spent two years studying at CNA in St. John’s. After graduation, he moved back to Labrador and started work as a reporter for CBC on the morning radio show Labrador Morning. He is now interested in working for the NunatuKavut Community Council in order to learn more about Indigenous affairs and further his interest in storytelling.
