Anne Hofland has embraced writing later in life, to make sense of her inner world and the world around us. She has had poetry and short fiction published in Write from the Heart 2, a joint publication by the 519 Community Centre and the Toronto Public Library, and three articles in Travel Scoop magazine. Most recently, she was a winner in the City of Toronto’s “My City, My Six” six-word story competition. She and her partner spend their retirement between their home in Toronto, travel, and their cottage near Sudbury, Ontario. Other interests include yoga, gardening, and stained glass.
